Ingress is counted from Mempool.AddedTx and settled from Mempool.RemoveTxs in the node's trace stream — one event per transaction, microsecond-stamped, binned at 250 ms and pushed over SSE. Counters, mempool and tip come from the node's Prometheus endpoint at 1 Hz.
A block clears its whole batch of transactions in a single instant, so settled is amortised back across the interval since the previous clear — otherwise one block reads as a ~10,000 TPS spike and flattens the axis. Certificate spans pair VoteAcquired with Certified on the shared rbHash: the bar runs from the first vote this node saw to the moment the certificate formed. Figures are this node's local view of the network.
